Still an Infant, Ruth Bats is Making Moves

It has only been 10 months since Ruth Bats, a company that manufactures wooden baseball bats out of European Beech and Hard Maple, opened shop in Ithaca, NY — a town of 30,000 people located in the popular Finger Lakes tourist destination of Upstate New York. But in that short time, their founder and their bats have become sort of a symbol of pride in the region.

And if they choose to apply for MLB Certification for the 2017 season, they may become the shining star of the town.

In fact, The Ithaca Voice recently published its second profile on Ruth Bats, which included a formal Question-and-Answer session from Ruth’s founder and President, Bill Ruth. In it he details how the business enjoyed a successful sales season during the summer months, and received requests from professional players to use Ruth bats.

It will be fun watching Ruth grow, and we’ll be keeping tabs on them, right here at BaseballBats.net.
